The birds you are referring to aren’t kept by people. Birds are naturally flying around, domesticated cats are just that, domesticated and thus the OWNERS are SUPPOSED to be RESPONSIBLE for their actions/activities.

My issue is with the owners, if they can’t control their animals then I will.

BTW, I didn’t say I killed anything or was going to, my family would have a coniption. The animal will probably end up with Animal Control and since none of the damn cats roaming our neighborhood have collars, my suspicions are that they would either be adopted out or euthanized.

Not my problem, I wasn’t the one who disobeyed the laws and ordinances related to pets.

Why are you punishing the pet when it’s the people’s fault? WHy don’t you have the stones and do what’s right and take the pet directly to the people who own and ask them to keep it off your property? Why hurt the pet? Have you know conscience? DO the right thing next time. Don’t punish the animals.....
