* Former President Bill Clinton took on Imus from the pulpit of the Old John Street United Methodist Church.

“The misfortune that befell Mr. Imus when he attacked the Rutgers basketball team . . . Now, the first thing I thought was, that guy did not watch the tournament, because those women were beautiful, fast, strong,” said Clinton.

“I deplore what Mr. Imus said. It was racist and it was sexist. What was really sad is, I thought, this must be one unhappy fella having to talk about somebody like [that].”

Much humor potential in your post, especially with Der Schlick talking about “beautiful, fast, strong” women.

What is he doing in a pulpit, anyway?

Now, the first thing I thought was, that guy did not watch the tournament, because those women were beautiful, fast, strong,” said Clinton.

So all the feigned outrage & high-tailing it to church is all about keeping black women on the Clinton plantation & keeping them from bolting to the Obama one. It's almost enough to motivate me to send Obama a check. Almost.

Somehow I doubt Sen. Clinton watched it either.
