Broken ribs at that age is deadly and is a very difficult and long recovery. Not only painful, but likely aspiration pnumonia, lung damage, infection, etc...

I've had broken ribs before, with 12 of them he better pray he doesn't have to sneeze for the next few months. Blow some pepper his way and he would probably pass out from the pain....

Sheesh - he's only 60, not 90! Sixty is NOT considered old by most people, especially those of us who have reached it in good health and in good physical condition. If Corzine is in good shape, his recovery will be a lot easier than someone who has let themselves go, whatever their age.

I don't like his political ideology, but I do wish him a speedy recovery.

My guess is that he wasn’t wearing a seat belt. I recall that that is why Princess Diana was killed.
