I have zero sypathy with Turkey, but the PKK in Turkey is really getting cocky. The Turks should drop their arrogant position and meddling regarding the Kirkuk-issue. The Kurdish authonomy, PKK, Turkey and the US should broker a deal in which Turkey and Kurdistan agree to keep off each other and deploy the PKK forces to the Iranian border, where they can merge with the Iranian PKK (Pejak) and concentrate on fighting the Iranian Regime Forces in Kurdistan.

To the Turks: I will not forget or forgive your turning your backs on your allies four years ago. Stick your a$$es in the air, along with your ideological bretheren.

Turkey's military asked the government Thursday to approve attacks on Kurdish rebels in northern Iraq
I think the US should defend it's Kurdish allies in this case.

ANKARA, Turkey - Turkey's military asked the government Thursday to approve attacks on Kurdish rebels in northern Iraq, signaling growing frustration over a lack of action against the guerrillas by Iraqi and U.S. forces. Pi$$ on the Turks.

I can’t help but wonder if Dubya might be a bit more sympathetic to the Turkish point of view had they not interfered with Operation Iraqi Freedom.

We are disappointed to hear of your border problems with the Kurds. Maybe next time you will cooperate with the only global superpower that really matters.

This unrest will easily be resolved if Turkey returns the territories they are currently occupying back to the Kurds, giving them independence. North Kurdistan does not belong to Turkey. Turkey should also return Constantinople, occupied portions of Cyprus, and occupied portions of west Armenia.

"The United States also sees Turkey as a crucial ally"That was before the invasion, refusing the US a northern front. It was our help that Turkey secured billions in aid.
