It was just announced on the "Mike and the Mad Dog Show" on WFAN (Imus's home base): Imus is out of a job on radio as well.
He will not even be on the air tomorrow.
CBS - the “C” stands for censorship.
How convenient that a rather vocal critic of Hillary Clinton has been nationally silenced with the help of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, far enoungh before the Presidential election to eliminate any potential damage.
IMHO, Sharpton and Jackson have found a new employer - the Clinton’s.
I would rephrase that. Liberals did this. I've heard a lot of minorities calling into talk shows criticizing the reverends sharpton and jackson. I'd say it was liberals of all colors and ethnicities who are gleefully rubbing their hands at this turn of events.

Check this out...from John Podhoretz...comparing this and the Duke case.
Yeah, Jason Whitlock. Read him here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1815474/posts
Oh, thank you!
Well, if you DON’T think this is start of a chilling assault on free-speech rights, check out mediamatters.org. These guys are emboldened by the Imus affair, and have already started to put Rush, Hannity, Savage and Glenn Beck in their sights for the next wave of “shock jocks” to be removed from the airwaves by innuendo, coersion and any other means necessary.
Read and heed my tagline.
“Why do you assume that it will just stop with broadcast radio?”
Bandwidth. Global satellite and internet venues require a bigger cork to plug the flood of information.
We are living in the Dark Ages. We are living in a state of Medieval superstitions (global warming) and religious (secular humanism) zealotry.
The federal govwernment and media ARE a STATE RELIGION! Imposing their belief system on everybody else.
Americans have a CONSTITUTIONAL Right to be as racist or anti-homosexual as they wish and associate exclusively with whom ever they wish. Only the government must act with equal treatment under the law.
What have we come to when you are not free to believe what you wish, no matter how wrong it may be.
This has become the disUnited FASCIST States of America.
(just think about your own reaction to my words above. And then realize how utterly indoctrinated we have become.)
I heard one of the empty talking heads claimed the Rutgers team had suffered more than these boys. Society seems to be on the verge of totally losing its mind.
I think that no one is more upset than Sharpton. What will keep cartoon-like face in the news now?
Earlier today on MSNBC I heard one of the guests propose an alternate next chapter of the Imus story...let him do the two weeks suspension as originally planned, then give him his show back as...I kid you not...âa forum to spread Al Sharptonâs message.â I’ve watched Al and Jesse pontificate over the last week, taking Imus to task and demanding punishment for his racist remarks. What I am not seeing on TV is a list of racist remarks from the careers of Sharpton and Jackson. The remarks are out there, and you don’t have to look far to find them. For Jackson, of course, you can start with âHymietown.â For Sharpton, simply Google his name and Freddyâs Fashion Mart or Crown Heights Riot for starters. This has been as much about positioning themselves in a position of power and influence as it has been about what Imus said. The day that either Sharpton or Jackson become my moral compass is the day Iâm going to grab a comfortable chair, sit in my back yard, and enjoy the views of pigs flying over my roof. Racism can be voiced by anyone...any race, any gender, any age, any political party, any religious background, any economic level...ANYONE. Someone needs to shine a light on Reverend Al while heâs crowing about the fact that âthis isn’t about gloating over what happened to Imus.â Thatâs just another one of his lies, and Iâm amazed that he can deliver it with a straight face.
Heads up...Bo Dietl back on Cavuto today.
Team Imus: Who’s In, Who’s Out
(Or where his former guests came out after the incident)

Thanks:) WIll turn on tv now!
He was already on. First guest. He was still pretty passionate but it wasn’t as fun as yesterday. “Mr. Morris.com” wasn’t on with him. LOL
He was only 17th on the talk radio charts. When he comes back on a smaller network, he will be much higher because of all the PR.
He should be crying all the way to the bank. He was pretty low talent anyway and was on his way out. This probably saved him.
The long term change might be to force big networks out of direct control of talk radio because of political sensitivities. Probably not a bad thing. To stay in, networks will probably just buy more holding companies to further insulate themselves from host chatter and MSM over reaction on slow newsdays.
Anyone who says that sounds like an escapee from an insane asylum. They are saying that they would prefer being charged with rape and face the possibility of a long time in prison rather than being called a name. No, these people are not normal.
You’re welcome, and you’re right. He can go on welfare for all I care.
One has everything to do with the other. It is startling how fast and swift the Jesse/Al posse took Imus down. But I think they had to soak up some of the news this week with the Duke guys being let go. The Imus deal was perfect timing for them.
