It was just announced on the "Mike and the Mad Dog Show" on WFAN (Imus's home base): Imus is out of a job on radio as well.
He will not even be on the air tomorrow.
Guess I will buy one too. I rarely listened to his TV/talk show but will support him now. The speech police have gone too far now. I hate whiny nanny police.
I agree with you to some extent (limited by my belief that a large percentage of this country is in a blissful coma). And the timing of this in conjunction with the Duke Lacrosse scandal is excellent. It proves that not only are blacks not discriminated against, they are pandered to. Reminds me of the old cartoon showing the kid surrounded by a mountain of presents under the Christmas tree screaming "IS THIS ALL!".
Or maybe 24/7 rap music by people who are allowed, encouraged and paid handsomely to say such things.
Damn you took words out of my mouth ROFL
Bo Dietl is making smoke come out of my TV.
It’s kind of like negotiating with terrorists who kidnap your sailors in sovereign waters.
Expect more!
Bo Dietle having a stroke on Fox...
Basically just that. A caller on the show was warning Rush to not let himself get set-up by some bogus caller who would set a trap. Said Snerdley must be extra careful with the mute button on what people might say.
Rush wanted to explain something about that, maybe how they try to deal with that (?)...but kept saying he didn’t want to “give these guys ideas”.
That’s all I clearly heard, sorry.
What did he say?
And the trashing of the three Duke Lacrosse players. This Susan summing up the case today on MSNBC. She was one of the main attackers of the players. When their DNA was not found she came up with the idiotic theory that "they put on coast before the rape." I am not kidding.
Hahaha...
She, is like most liberals, do as I say not as I do.
Muckdiving Sharptongue and Jackass are lower than scum on the Demorat cesspool.
Her desperate attempt at wrestling Black support away from Obama. Obama sensed this was going to happen so he made the preemptive strike of calling for Imus's ouster yesterday.
What?
I don’t give a damn about Imus. Used to listen to him in college many years ago. He was often shockingly funny then. Haven’t listened to him since.
What I do give a damn about is the hypocrisy (rap music) but most of all the delegated powers given to Sharpton and Jackson. It bodes ill.
For those who were New Yorkers, the earliest pleasure of the Giuliani mayoralty was that after years of success and running rampant over the city, Giuliani shut him down totally as one of his first significant incidents.
The Democrats resurrected him by allowing the travesty that he deserved the stage with real Presidential candidates.
Now he has a greater success.
If Giuliani get another chance at Sharpton. I hope this time he drives a stake into thatsociety clogging trans fat tub of lard.
Reminds me of what my grandpa told me decades ago. I wanted to put money in the March of Dimes canister at the register, he pulled me aside and explained something to me.
March of Dimes used to be about raising money for polio. Once polio was cured, they realized they'd be out of a job, so they switched to a new problem - birth defects. They knew this would never be cured, so they were guaranteed a job forever.
Much like the race-baiters today - they keep collecting a paycheck as long as they can rabble-rouse for racism.
Tell that to Jimmy The Greek and Howard Cosell.
Seems unlikely to me that his handlers would let him sign a contract that allowed CBS to fire him for trivial reasons like this. More likely they’ll keep paying him till the contract ends.
Living proof what happens when first cousins marry and then have kids. Err, I mean, when liberals marry and then...well, you know what I mean. (sarcasm/)
