In context there is absolutely nothing wrong with the above quotes. Looks like libs are trying to make it a conservative issue.
The libs have been working for a long time to OUTLAW conservative ideology.
They can’t compete idea for idea, but they can try to use the government, like they do in all parts of their agenda, to force compliance.
