U.S. radio host Neal Boortz last year said, Cynthia McKinney, "looks like a ghetto slut."
Rush Limbaugh, in January called Barack Obama, whose father was from Kenya and his white mother is from Kansas, a "halfrican American."
And CNN host Glenn Beck, during an interview with Muslim congressman Keith Ellison, said, "Sir, prove to me that you are not working with our enemies."
The comments by Boortz, Limbaugh and Beck were confirmed by the watchdog group Media Matters, which said the same public outcry that forced Imus off MSNBC and forced CBS Corp. to suspend his radio show for two weeks ought to be applied to others.
"It's the media's responsibility to hold these people accountable," said Karl Frisch, a spokesman for Media Matters.
All three men remain in their jobs, and Boortz was among a group of conservative radio hosts who met U.S. President George W. Bush in the White House last September.
Paul Levinson, chairman of the Department of Communications and Media Studies at New York's Fordham University, said Limbaugh and Ann Coulter were "already identified as crackpots" while Imus was more influential with the mainstream.
"Once someone is identified as beyond the pale, which is how Coulter and Limbaugh are identified, nobody ever takes anything they say all that seriously," Levinson said.

There are 3 videos there of Imus program director Bernard McGuirk calling into Imus' radio show as "New Orleans mayor C. Ray Nagin," and they are some of the best -- (but warning: foulest) -- on-air skits you'll ever hear on the radio.
What is problem with turning the dial if people don’t like what they see or hear? No one is forced to watch or listen to any of these shows.
I am offended by all liberals, should they then be forced off the air? Or should they be allowed to attract the lousy ratings they do?

As for Keith Ellison the Black Muslim ,he should prove he isnt working for our enemy, the same as Nancy Pelosi should ,especially after their trip to Syria.

Imus is not a conservative, and his continued existence as a broadcaster is dependent on the MSM (CBS radio network and MSNBC). He is carried by only 90 radio stations nationwide, a fraction of what Rush, Hannity, Savage, et. al., have. All Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton have to do is to snarl in the general direction of the MSM and that of national advertisers like Proctor and Gamble, and they will whimper like whipped puppies.
BTW, I suspect the real reason Imus is being taken down is his strong and vocal dislike of Hillary Clinton. Al Sharpton, the main antagonist, is in Hillary 's corner. Recently, he has attacked her main rival for the Democratic Presidential nomination, Barack Obama.
Leftists have been generally unsuccessful in shutting down conservative talkers through pressure and boycotts. They are looking to revival of the Fairness Doctrine passed by a Democrat-run Congress and signed by a Democrat (Hillary, Edwards, Obama) or RINO (Giuliani, McCain, Romney) President.
And your overall impression of him was what?
We had orange juice for months and months. :) If the media and dems. want to see a full scale retaliation from the conservative base, then let them try to go after Limbaugh, Boortz, Beck, Hannity.... That would be a very interesting fight. ;)

I haven't watched Imus for more than three years, but he is hardly a racist. Before that I watched him religiously for five years. I quit watching him when he started to stab Bush in the back after originally supporting him.
Imus was an equal opportunity offender more than anything. He liked some Black people, and he hated some others. He made fun of them. He liked some White people, and he hated others. And he made fun of them. Over the years he had a large number of Black performers, politicians, and activists on his program. Racists don't do those sorts of things. He made a stupid offhand comment concerning some female basketball players to get a cheap laugh, and he lost his program for it. That's all.
That didn’t take long.
Fire all them radio honkies! Only hip hop gangstas should be talkin like dat!
Ann Coulter was THANKING her enemies for making her MORE MONEY.
