MECHANICSVILLE — A fire that caused more than $150,000 in damage to the Islamic Society of Schuylkill County early Wednesday morning appears to have been accidental, a state police investigator said.
State police fire marshal Trooper John F. Burns of the Frackville station said he worked with federal agents and local fire officials to determine the blaze originated in a storage area near the kitchen.
“We know where it started; now, we want to determine exactly how,” Burns said. ...

In 2 generations there will be a muslim politician from Pennsylvania who will remember growing up with a plethora mosque fires.

The reality is, if/when this country is hit again, theres going to be a lot of bonfires in Mosques.

I grew up in the next town(no real line of demarkation between the two), and can say that they keep a low profile and the 35 families generally interact well with the rest of the community. VERY different from the separatist where I now live(northern Virginia)

That said, I’ll add that one should not store holy dynamite and munitions too close to the kitchen.
I wonder how many hours it will take CAIR to spin this into a “hate crime.”

And if they can’t find one, CAIR will be glad to make one up.
When we lived in Scarsdale, NY, an arsonist burned two or three churches in town, including a nearby Presbyterian Church where our kids went to nursery school. As far as I know, there was no great effort to find the perpetrator, and the feds certainly never got involved.
I hope Bill Clinton does not have nightmares of the Arkansas Black Church burnings of his youth.
