CA: Illegal immigrant suspected in fatal crash had four DUIs (drunk,on drugs, killed father of five)

An illegal immigrant arrested in connection with a collision that killed a father of five was drunk and on drugs, and had four previous drunken driving convictions, law officers said.

Jose Pena, 26, was allegedly traveling 90 miles per hour on March 31 when he crossed a double yellow line and hit 33-year-old Kent Boone. He also allegedly had two pounds of crystal methamphetamine in his truck, according to California Highway Patrol officers who later checked Pena's home and found more drugs.

Pena was booked into the Solano County Jail on suspicion of murder, driving under the influence and drug offenses when he was released from the hospital a week after the crash, said Solano County sheriff's spokeswoman Paula Toynbee.

Boone's family, including five children aged 12 to 5, was devastated by his death, and angry at Pena.

"He needs to be in prison. There's no way they're going to be able to deport him and keep him out of our country," said Boone's widow, Regina Sorisio.

The Solano County District Attorney's Office is further investigating the case.

Federal immigration authorities also have placed a hold on Pena, meaning local law enforcement will notify Immigration and Customs Enforcement before releasing him, said spokeswoman Virginia Kice.

Pena's bail was set at $950,000.

We should start throwing judges in jail for criminal negligence.

How can you expect folks to respect our driving and drug laws when they don’t respect our borders?

If only he had a path to citizenship that he could pursue, he wouldn’t have been forced to drive drunk.

(sarcasm tag hopefully not needed)

This is beyond infuriating and a tragedy that was absolutely avoidable.

Let’s see if O’Reilly will address this one too, like he’s doing with the illegal alien drunk driver in Virginia Beach, VA.

Sending him the link right now.

Pena should have been shot fleeing the scene of the crime.

“On your tag line, don’t forget the 11th amendment.”

Amendment XI

These senseless deaths of Americans would stop if only we’d license these illegal alien criminals.

`Clark Griswold’ drives a car in Mexico and someone runs into him, he goes to a Mexican jail until the right palms get greased.
Jose Pena, drunk and on drugs kills Kent Boone, father of five, while driving a car loaded with crystal meth, and he gets `time-out’ in Mexico.

Just one of thousands of stories to remember come the first of the month when Jose’s pals `living in the shadows’ march for justice.
No way, Jose.

I live near Chicago, and I heard the director of the IL Minutemen say that, since Sept. 11, 2001, an average of 23 people, per day, have been killed by illegal aliens.

I don’t know what the exact figures really are, maybe no one does, but there’s no doubt American’s are suffering as the result of not enforcing our current immigration laws.

So how did this border jumping illegal get to drive a car in the first place? With forged documents? Was he reported to the feds on four previous charges? And our dear leaders of the Federal Immigration Authority have put a "hold" on this guy. Will they ever deport him, and if they do, when will he be back to cause more mayhem.

Ah, you were referring to the hiding place for all liberal republicans. I get it. Tough for them if they want to avoid criticism for the liberal records.

I prefer these reagan sayings:

“I don ‘t know about you, but I am impatient with those Republicans who after the last election rushed into print saying, “We must broaden the base of our party”—when what they meant was to fuzz up and blur even more the differences between ourselves and our opponents.

....

I do not believe I have proposed anything that is contrary to what has been considered Republican principle. It is at the same time the very basis of conservatism. It is time to reassert that principle and raise it to full view. And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way.”

Imagine if the MSM posted those deaths every day on their front pages and announced it in the first 2 minutes of their evening news programs. Then kept a running tally of the deaths.
