LET THE LIAR BE NAMED & SHAMED

HER name is Crystal Gail Man gum. She is the woman who falsely accused three Duke University students of rape. Yesterday, the attorney general of North Carolina came forward and flatly declared the three young men "innocent of these charges." That means their accuser is a liar. Her name is Crystal Gail Mangum. It is the policy of the news media not to publish the names of rape accusers on the grounds that they should not have to fear public shame for coming forward with word of a horrifying personal violation. That is a noble policy. But it needs a codicil. The codicil is that if a rape accuser is revealed as a liar, her name should be spoken loudly and often - as loudly and often as the names of those whom she falsely accused have been over the past year. Her name is Crystal Gail Mangum. She must be denied anonymity because she makes a mockery of the very policy of granting anonymity to rape accusers. We do not publish their names so that they will not fear public exposure. But people who are tempted to do the monstrous thing Mangum did should fear public exposure.

I see that Don Imus is fighting back, asking when Al Sharpton is going to apologize to the Duke lacrosse players. LOL!
He should also ask Je$$e Jack$on whether he intends to keep his promise to pay for Crystal Gail Mangum’s education at NCCU.

That’s an interesting last name. Could it be her, er, professional name?

I clicked on the link provided, and did not see a picture of Crystal Gail Mangum. Do you have a link to the pic? The picture is not on the link provided, but on the cover. Just go to their main site.
To: NYC Republican
I also get the picture of the Attorney General, not Crystal Gail Mangum. The website is screwy.

Even as late as yesterday, the TV MSM was pixeling out her face. I thought that kind of protection was reserved for victims, not the person who perpetrated the act.

Jesse and Al are lucky. They’re basically using Imus as a shield to avoid talking about the Duke case.
To: TommyDale
They stuck it on the front page, not with the article.
*sigh*
Oh well, that’s what we get for expecting info to be together, nice and tidy.

No, her name on stage was “Precious” and a lot of people here at FR has known all this since last year. There is so much crap involved in this case that if the Attorney General really wanted to, he could indict many more people in the community as a result.

In my younger days, I have been in some frat houses where most all, if not all were drunk out of their minds. I also lived on the floor with the athletic fraternity for a semester after my separation from the Navy. In neither instance did anyone distinguish oneself by their discretion.
I am not sure that we will never know what happened that night. Although it was demonstrated that no student’s DNA was left in the woman. That distinguished group of scholars may have had other methods of play in mind. I would not judge the woman too harshly.
Just a thought from an old sailor who has spent a lot of time with persons that underestimated their capacity for alcohol.

Funny that she’s being called a stripper by the MSM now instead of a ‘dancer’ or ‘performer’...

Falsely accusing someone of rape should be a felony. I don’t care if she believes her story or has mental problems. Does a bank-robber get away with it if they claim they believe their action was not against the law? The double standard lives on.
