I know that Imus isn’t conservative. And I think what he said was despicable.
My post was pointing out that until conservatives start going back to activism and calling or writing news organizations to complain when Christianity or conservatives are treated to bigoted statements, then we can expected more of the same hypocrisy.
Remember when Condi Rice was called a slave etc., by various cartoonists and “entertainers”? Nothing happened. Nothing.
And you’re right — watching Al Sharpton dictating moral policy is repugnant. By rights, we never should have seen Al’s face on tv again after his hymietown comments.
How much outrage will happen to the leftyblogger detailed at LGF, FR link here:

I know it’s tough to keep all their statements straight, but wasn’t the “hymmietown” comment from the other “Rev”? Believe it or not, his name escapes me.
Psst! That was Jesse. (who is equally repugnant)
Jesse— Hymietown
Al— Tawana Brawley
Probably already pointed out but I believe the HYMIETOWN comment was Jesse Jackson's.
To be fair, that was Jesse Jackson.
