Britain is likely to have a scorching summer this year, with a high probability that temperatures will soar above average. The Met Office has also said there is a one in eight chance the UK will swelter in record-breaking heat - as it did in 2006 and 2003. Last year's summer was the warmest extended period on record, while the heatwave in 2003 set a new British high of 38.5C.

I’ve lived in England, I would be eagerly awaiting a decent summer there. The one or two days we actually had sun in Plymouth was wonderful.

Just like last year was supposed to be the worst hurricane season in the history of mankind. How many hurricanes hit land?

I have heard rumors of this, and I am very excited that this might occur. You can still see the places that the Romans grew grapes to make wine. There are still furrows between where the grape arbors were. Apparently they had globull warming back then too, even though they had no internal combustion engines and excess cow flatulence.

It’s pretty hot over here already.
I just LOVE the nice weather.
As I look out the office, all I see is a nice blue sky and a scorching sun. Bring it on I say....
Thanks you guys for the global warming that helped make this happen!! :}

As I type this, it’s snowing in Chicago. And no babes holding hands by my cubicle either.
To: Hegewisch Dupa
Oh well, I’m sure you’ll get your fair share soon enough..

The British consider any temperature above 70 to represent a heat wave.
