We thank You for our brother in Christ, President Bush, and lift him up to You in prayer asking that no weapon formed against him will prosper and that the arrows of the Enemy will not harm him. We ask that he might remain humble before You and that he might never lose sight of the fact that without You, he is nothing. Keep him dependent on You for all things, and help him to seek first Your Kingdom, and not his own will. We ask that You would bless and protect him, and grant him the wisdom that he seeks to make the right decisions even when the problems are difficult. Keep him in Your word daily and in constant prayer, and make Your presence known to him at all times.
We bring before You today our troops in harm’s way asking that You blanket them with Your divine protection. We thank You for the positive news we hear from Iraq – that the surge is working, and we ask that You might provide for our troops the strength, courage and wisdom they need to be victorious in battle and ever reliant on You for strength. We ask that those who name Your Name among them would be bold in their witness to Your great love and that ultimately, the freedom which the Iraqi people and the people of Afghanistan have because of our brave military, would lead to religious freedom and the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a people in need of Your love and mercy. We pray for the families of those who serve that You would give them patience and peace, and we pray for the families of those who have fallen, that You would comfort them in this time of grief and pain.
Father, we continue to pray for this nation, asking that You would cleanse us from the many sins which we have committed as a people. We pray that the dark blot of abortion would soon be ended, and that we would once again follow Your laws. We pray for the election of next year and plead with You to raise up a leader who will honor life and morality and have the strength to honor the Constitution and lead us in a war against evil. Lord, we trust You, and remain on bended knee, knowing that if we pray, believing, that You will hear and answer our prayers, and we give You all the glory, and thank You in advance for the answers that we know will come. We pray all these things in the strong Name of Jesus, who is the Christ, Amen

Lord, in Your presence we are humbled, yet beckoned as your adopted children, co-heirs in Heaven with Jesus. Let us never take lightly Your Unspeakable Gift, Jesus Christ.
And let us never take lightly the sovereignty we have been given over ourselves; let us be humble yet wise stewards of our time, talents, emotions, monies and votes, for we show either sovereignty over such possessions—or slavery to them.
May we pray for and not curse those in power—and may all those in power be quick to seek Your face, that You may bless our nation, One Nation Under God.
