I’m still waiting for someone to explain how this “bias” was supposed to manifest itself in a debate among people who mostly agree.

It's not the "bias" they are afraid of...it's the questions that someone from Fox might actually them, that the friendly confines of the lib-media will not! The list of possibilities is endless, I'm sure you can think of several.

Yup. The days of a CNN correspondent asking a Democrat candidate how he'd react if his wife were raped are long gone.
