But Mike was talking about it in the context of his brother-in-law getting cancer, and that can make people think very strangely.

I wasn't listening as closely as I should have (doing the dishes at the time), but I heard Savage say that God doesn't answer prayers. This I believe, as the Bible states (in John) that the whole world lies in the power of the wicked one. Jehovah chooses not to intervene in earthly affairs, as he allows Satan to rule the world until this system of things comes to an end (armageddon). We have Jehovah's (and his son Jesus) teachings to live by, but don't expect your prayers to be answered.

Truthfully Tark, I have NEVER complained to the mods about ANY of the trolls, AND actually I am sincere, I like Checkpants, not sure why, it's that dang Lormand that really gets on my last nerve.

It’s for people with children who have never been to a game. It sure would be sweet to start my son’s Spring vacation week out with a treat like that from his Mom who he doesn’t think is so cool most of the time!

Times like this I surely miss out due to lack of cable. Instead had to endure re-runs on the TBN channel, promised myself to watch the unedited DVD version of the Passion of the Christ again, but the remembrance of the violent scenes deterred me.
