I take that what Roker and others (including a number of Anglos) are saying is that Imus has offended for a very long time. His routine is laden with invective and always has been. The latest seems to be the last straw so to speak.
Now, I don’t know if Imus should be fired. That’s not my decision, but, I don’t have a problem with others in the industry who know him to voice their view.
I can’t go along with you on the point that Roker and others would not care if a white woman were called ho. If you ask me, most of the comedy routines and lyrics and such that use terms like that should be cleaned up, but I don’t look for that to happen because ‘free speach’ will be cited ad infinitum (sp).
Lastly, FWIW, I think Rosie should be canned from ABC because she has offended Christians.

When the Rokers and talking heads and the liberals start calling for people to lose their jobs for calling Bush a nazi or calling Ahscroft a KKK member, then I’ll listen to them whine about nappy headed ho comments.
Imus is talking about changing the show to get more bros in the studio as sidekicks and as guests. If he caves like that, it’ll be the end of him.
