that coach is really good.I give her credit to rise to the moment...she is truely good

Don't fall for that crap.

This is becoming surreal, and the double standard should cause a backlash. As I said on another thread, I would bet money that every one of those girls has a ghetto rap song in their Ipod.

The coach was long-winded, and I for one, did not need her life story becoming part of the issue.

Don’t you know? Derogatory language and marginalizing black women is the sole right of black men. They make careers of vile characterizations of black women. Black men get upset when they hear an old white guy imitating them. Maybe when they hear an old Cracker like Imus, they realize how stupid they sound.

Note to Imus... When you get accused of being a racist, you had better FIGHT back and fight for all you are worth. Once you apologize, especially to the likes of Sharpton, your career is over. Good riddance!

It was fun watching David Gregory trying to justify this last night on MSNBC.

But who will Joe Biden talk to now?

I just found my answer to the question about what Howard Stern thinks of this:

Howard Stern of Sirius Satellite Radio, no fan of Imus but a big fan of unrestricted content, yesterday mocked Imus' apology.

"He's apologizing like a guy who got his first broadcasting job," said Stern. "He should have said, 'F--k you, it's a joke.'"

"Whoopi Goldberg, morning host on WKTU (103.5 FM), wasn't laughing.

"What Imus said "p---ed me off," she said. "But when you talk like he does, it comes back to bite you in the butt. How do you explain you're not a racist?"

Is it only, or do more people feel this has been blown out of proportion? This is rediculous!

Get over it all ready!

I for one did not need to hear the coach’s life story!

Where’s my remote?

Its too late. Imus is done. He will be fired, bet on it.

Ann Coulter has come to Imus' defense, saying he should stop apologizing. That should be the final nail in his coffin.

I agree with Stern, FGS!

And that's rich coming from her.

How do you explain you're not a racist?

Well, of course, you don't; that's how it works for them. They get another dead horse to beat till the end of time, while giving black rappers a pass.

Well, good for McCain; at least he won’t desert him; the other liberals will though. Makes me sick.

Heard Imus and Bill Maher chatting this morning on the car radio about this whole affair.

Out of NOWHERE, Imus says that George Bush is the worst president ever, and re-emphasises by repeating “EVER”.

Bill Maher agrees whole heartedly and they start bashing Bush. At that point, I punched-in the CD.

Imus is just another liberal suffering from Bush Derangement Synrome.

Of course once you are accused of being a racist, any attempt at claiming you are not, only makes things worse.

Imus has sealed his fate when he met with Sharpton. Say goodnight Gracie....

“that coach is really good.I give her credit to rise to the moment...she is truely good”

Please tell me you are kidding. She is making this about her!
This whole thing is as outrageous and nauseating as what Imus originally said (and who hasn’t heard worse in almost any rap lyrics). I’m sorry, but I just finished reading “Flags of Our Fathers” and comparing what these young men were facing at the same age as these women are now facing...

She does have experience though...because of the brouhaha involving her then boyfriend, Ted Danson..she did go through it with him, it’s a good question, “How do you explain you’re not racist?”
