Women spend their days immersed in endless trivia

Isn't that the truth? I can't believe the drivel my dear wife watches on weekday TV.

I think all the soap-opera drama warps their idea of interpersonal relations. If we have a minor quarrel I have forgotten it by suppertime, but it sometimes seems as if she thinks we are characters on Dallas or Dynasty or whatever crap show they have nowdays, and I am trying to "destroy" her. And God forbid I offer any commentary on a Lifetime men-are-all-violent-cheating-pigs show.

And that's just the fictional shows, not to mention the man-hating bilge ladled into womens' brains by the likes of Oprah and Rosie O'Doughnuts.

I think this would be a better world if there were no TV at all.

Not all women watch TV. I for one watch a little bit of Fox News in the evening and that is it!
When I had surgery recently my husband brought a TV into the bedroom so I wouldn’t get bored. Ugh! It was awful! I had him take it out.

and I am trying to "destroy" her.

I love that line. My mom used to say that all the time about people she knew. "This person is trying to destroy this person." "That person wants to destroy me." I really don't know how someone can really destroy another unless they kill them.
