I don’t listen very much, Does anyone here remember what his take was on the Michael Richards thing, especially regarding the grovelling apologies?
Who the hell cares what Olbermann thinks about anything? The man is pathetic. Now he’s trying to play serious commentator. He’s not playing with much.
When Chris Rock says about the Bent One’s problem, “It’s Hillary’s fault. Yeah I said it” well I don’t see him being down on all whites.
But I sure find it damn funny. Besides he was on the HBO Seinfeld special. And although Jerry’s show was great, his stand-up was about as white bread as you can get.
As far as insulting humor goes, you can’t improve on Larry David in “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” But the common denominator here is that they are all funny. Imus is just lame and taking stupid shots at a women’s basketball team.
I thought Don Imus died 8 years ago.

I enjoyed Imus today more than ever before. Watching that old fart gravel at the feet of that pimp Sharpton warmed the coddles of my heart. Hopefully this egotistical phony old coot will ride off into the sunset and rot. Please take Diedra and your spoiled kid with you Iman your snooty rich Manhattan liberal friends won’t want to be associated with a raciest.
I don’t know if people know the story of his young wife. He met her when he saved her from being mugged. He was packing. A few years later they got married.
What I don’t like is the reaction to this whole episode. Yea, he said something crude that was likely inappropriate, but “SO WHUT”. I’m sick of all this. He said it, he apologized, get over it. A month ago a black girl who had worked for me for two years called me a white cracker. Racist? You bet. Is there a double standard at work here in the US? You bet.
Everyone deserves a shot to apologize and move on.

Since there is no "best of" for Imus, I too am wondering what they are gonna do. Maybe they'll run the show without Imus. No clue here.
Unfortunately , I can’t make a truly informed opinion on Imus since I’ve never listened to him however I do believe that people in general are way to over sensitive to stupid comments.......
If entertainers are held to the standards of political correctness the routines will be performed by Mimes.....
