This is a thread about nappy hair.

Why hasn’t anyone posted any pictures of Cynthia McKinney and her nappy do?

I do not mean that in a racist way.

I don’t defend what he said — I defend his right, under the first ammendment, to say it. Just as I detest Rosie and what she says every day of the week.
____________________________________________________
The First Ammendment protects free speech only from GOVERNMENT prosecution. That’s why John Rocker wasn’t hauled off in handcuffs. There is no law in America against making a Horse Tooth Jackass of yourself and saying stupid things, otherwise we would all be under arrest and there would be nobody to guard us in jail.

Imus is still a free man and is not under Gubmint scutiny (unless the FCC gets involved in which case all bets are off and forget what I just said about free speech) It doesn’t protect anyone from Al Sharpton and others who want to use their right to free speech to call him what they want and pursue their own agenda.

But I agree with you and others who point out that Weird Al Sharpton and Jesse “the philanderer” Jackson are guilty of saying and doing much worse yet the liberal media won’t touch them. In a matter of fact, Imus has said much worse than this and nobody made a stink before.

I guess you can call people as many ugly slanderous names that you want on the air, as long as Jesse and Al say it’s OK or don’t notice.

This my point, really... what I'm most angry about is once again Jesse and Al are all over the networks playing the poor us routine.

Wasn't it Jesse who was all over the Duke case last year and now it turns out the girl lied -- but always call the white man the lier... never consider your own may have lied... I, for one, am sick of this double standard.

If they had the stones they'd play some of Mim's best while the "I" mans out.

from Michelle Malkin's site:

The number one rap track is by a new sensation who goes by the name of "Mims."

The "song" is "This Is Why I'm Hot." It has topped the charts for the last 15 weeks. Here's a taste of the lyrics that young men and women are cranking up in their cars:

This is why I'm hot

Catch me on the block

Every other day

Another bitch another drop

16 bars, 24 pop

44 songs, nigga gimme what you got…

… We into big spinners

See my pimping never dragged

Find me wit' different women that you niggas never had

For those who say they know me know I'm focused on ma cream

Player you come between you'd better focus on the beam

I keep it so mean the way you see me lean

And when I say I'm hot my nigga dis is what I mean

Good points. I hadn’t even considered looking at the team demographics. It really doesn’t even interest me what the team is made up of, but it is interesting at “what” is considered racist these days. A long time ago, having separate drinking fountains (something tangible) was racist. Nowadays, anything said by anyone not liked by the “community leaders” is up for grabs to be labeled racist. What a shame.
