Therein lies the rub among some of us in the majority who "disapproved" of Rudy's second term.

If you were in the majority, why didn't he lose? : )

Rudy had a great first term, and an incompetant opponent in the form of Ruth "Butch" Massingil, er, Messinger.

Unfortunately, like Jean D'Arc, Rudy began hearing the voices in his ear and head about his "call to greatness." In Jean's case, it led to victory against the Brits, and an unfortunate execution. In Rudy's case, it led to making Al Sharpton look almost rational, and Judi Nathan, the latter a fate worse than death. ;-)
