You are quite right. A lot of the people who dumped on the President were totally uninformed about what had transpired (I also count Cal Thomas, Laura Ingraham, and Susan Collins in this group. Probably others if I search my memory long enough.)
All of these critics got their ideas on what was possible and whose fault the mess-up was from hysterical Geraldo and Shep Smith, neither of whom gave anything other than soap opera fiction about what was happening in New Orleans.
People who paid attention knew what the problems were and who was primarily to blame, and it wasn't President Bush.
To me, that Newt is criticizing the President over Katrina more than a year later is a sign that he is opportunistic AND uninformed. Pfui on him!
Well, Zack held ‘em off...and Tiger is pouting.
ROTFL.....what a great image that presents!
That was rather strange.
I thought he had a little more strength than that.
The real reason behind the Dems opposition to the Iraq War lies buried in those documents that have yet to be translated. Notice how quickly the Dems jumped on an alleged security breach to have the document website shut down. And of course Negroponte was more than willing to comply.
AT this point I’d believe anything about the far left. I just watched Schumer on with Chris Wallace and he makes my skin crawl. We do have some just as despicable on our side, however.... case in point Arlen Specter.
That certainly flew under the MSM radar. One could make a case that Miss Nancy was actually drawing attention (on purpose) away from the real story in last weeks democrat-led ME debacle.
Surprised at Tiger's response. Yes, he did blow it today. More people under par than yesterday and he wasn't one of them. Woods has made the Nicholas chase his obsession. If he is not careful, it will destroy him.
I am trying, however, to be fair about him, as there are people in State who managed to escape the leftist brainwashing (John Bolton being example #1).
So much in government is simply mystifying to me. Some things I think we will never understand.
I just don’t see how he thinks it helps his party..or HIM, to bash Gonzo and the President with such relish.
It made me angry...and I have him in the same catagory as McCain now...both have done harm to our sitting POTUS/CIC during the time of war...
They are off my ballot.
The msm has a nasty little habit of not looking into anything that makes their side look like the liars they are.
I've often wondered if "W" might regret supporting "Snarlin" last election cycle?
I totally agree sleuth
Sadlym he isn’t up for re-election for four more years. We the people are paying the price of Bill Frist falling for Specters lies and ignoring all of us who cried out for him to bypass Specter and put Jon Kyl in charge (when the GOP was in charge) of the Judiciary Committee.
For those interested...John McCain will be on 60 Minutes tonight.
Dare I say I, for one, would applaud to see the Logan act actually enforced for once — for Hoyer and Pelosi — but particularly Hoyer for his meeting with a terrorist organization.
Brit looked like he had been slapped when Wallace cut him off...and for that stupid secret person or whatever it is.
