We all comment on how the left sounds so much like Al Qaeda and the other terrorist organizations, but we have laughed and chalked it up to both having Bush Derangement Syndrome.
BUT, what if they really WERE in cahoots with the terrorists? What if the terrorists were jumping to THEIR orders? What if they were totally coordinated...as an Oklahoma City bombing done to make Clinton play the grieving president?
I hate thinking such stuff. I always like to think that these people are blinded by their hate of Bush. But, what if their BDS is simply a smokescreen for their coordinated plot to take the US government down?
I hate this type of thinking, but given how they have been behaving, it would take superhuman powers not to think about the possibilities.
I heard the Crystal remark and thought the same thing you did.
He had two meetings with the Muslim Brotherhood, in Egypt, while Pelosi was having her meeting with Assad. The Muslim Brotherhood is the granddaddy of the Islamist terrorist organizations. They believe in setting up an Islamic state, under Sharia law. Hamas, Egyptian Islamic Jihad (Zawahiri's original group, that assassinated Sadat), and al Qaeda are offshoots. The blind sheik who was the spiritual leader of the group that engineered the 1993 World Trade Center bombing was a leading member. (He is now in prison in the US.) During the second World War, the Muslim Brotherhood was an ally of the Nazis. Nowadays, the Muslim Brotherhood is the chief opposition group to Mubarak and they say they are peaceful, but no one believes them (except maybe pie-in-the sky leftists like Ramsey Clark).

Another gloomy assessment is that I cometimes consider Chirac's almost total panic over our invasion into Iraq, and begin to think that perhaps Chirac's government knew about 9/11 ahead of time and kept it secret.

I just read that whole transcript...and I have to say that I was not happy with any of the three participants.
I never like Chris Wallace...but Shcmuckie was a schmuck...and Newt was, well...NEWT.
He just HAD to bring up Katrina..to blast the Bush Admin. about...even thought it hadn’t been a topic.
BTW..I heard a speech by the new FEMA Director the other day...and he said one of the first changes he has made is that FEMA will NO LONGER wait to get “permission” from the Gov. or other state and city (Read: Nagin) leaders before they move in and do their stuff.
Remember...Blanco and Nagin were FIGHTING Bush from even before the hurricane hit...and so they are the ones that screwed up...but, alas, NEWTIE has to make the MSM and dems happy and show he is not a BUSH backer.

I agree, but he needs to be working for someone else, not be the man in charge. Right now he's in charge of all that he does and he has this tendency to hare off in all directions at once. Sometimes those are great, sometimes they're not. He needs someone else to provide the discipline and focus that he lacks.
