I sometimes despair at the cluelessness of the RNC and other Republican leadership organizations. Do they not realize that besides the democrats, the media is our enemy? Can they not understand that the media defeated us in '06?
I have posted on this forum before that these organizations are failing in that they are not mounting a PAID media campaign to combat the liberal bias. The money that they have on hand would better be spent on defining the democrat agenda and putting the lie to the made-up scandals such as the one against Gonzales!
With the failing revenue to the newspapers and major networks, I can't see them declining to run these ads. I'm not an expert on campaign finance, but surely there is a way to get around the McCain-Feingold laws to do this.
As an aside, I look for McCain-Feingold to bite McCain in the butt in a big way during these elections...extreme karma, and well-deserved.
the transcript of the Newt/Schumer tag team match is up at FNS

Happy Easter everyone!
Thank you for the honor you bestowed upon me.
Nihil dicit.
You made no point at all.
I have to disagree. Romney looks to me like he just got off one of those reality TV shows, "Presidential Candidate Makeover". He is altogether TOO suave, sophisticated and smooth.....like a snake-oil salesman. Honestly, he gives me the willies.
I think he has patterned himself as the anti-good-old-boy-Clinton-persona. Flame away!
Getting here late. what did Steny Hoyer do? I thought perhaps he might use this opportunity to knife Pelosi in the back, since he loathes her.
I wish I'd said that!
That’s because the MSM and the radical left that run the Democrat Party are one and the same...only now they don’t have to pretend like they are distant aquaintences.
They were side by side in the Campus takeovers and draft card burnings in the 60’s...the only thing that’s changed is that they not buy their clothes at Jos. A Bank, Gucchi and Brooks Brothers.
I honestly believe they backslap each other at parties in Georgetown and the Hamptons and laugh about how they fooled us again this week...and then talk strategery about how they want things reported the following week.
As far as the DBM and the Socialist Democrat party are concerned we are all of the intelligence level of Forrest Gump and will believe everything they tell us truthful or not.
:-) No worries, I am not decided yet either.
LOL! These “experts need to look at the calendar and hold off on their “choice” until it’s truly election season...not this media created one that they are using to numb us to what’s already out there.
Sometimes I am right and then I snap out of it :-)
LOL
For the right candidate, I don’t care what the MSM calls him/her. And if it truly is the right candidate, the candidate isn’t going to care either, but just go and deliver.
:-)
Oh, come on now. You are giving him way too much credit. His shoe size is closer to his IQ than 95.
Amazing how things like this get ignored by the DBM:
“But the “will of the people” isn’t set in stone. Persistent signs of success in Iraq could revive a will to victory, just as a run of bad news sapped the public’s patience. Even when they are discouraged, Americans are not comfortable with the idea of simply bugging out and leaving Iraqis to deal with whatever mess we leave behind.
A new survey by the research group Public Agenda shows seven in 10 respondents favoring withdrawal but about 60% saying that the U.S. has a moral obligation to the Iraqi people. We doubt if most would consider that obligation met if we were to leave the Iraqis with no effective government and with a war zone for their capital.”

While everyone was focused on Stretch Pelosi’s violation of The Logan Act....Steny Hoyer was meeting in the ME with the terrorist organization known as the Muslim Brotherhood.
I see newt as sort of a think tank kind of guy.
Makes you wonder doesn’t it...
Understood, hate it that Britt will leave.
Yeah he was pathetic
Special award time here!!(where’s EC)
