“It is a mirror image of the adulation McCain used to get from the demmedia. Clinton and her party see Rudy as the most serious threat and so the trashing of Rudy has already begun.”
I’m not so sure they see a real threat in Rudy if he were to get the nomination. They have tons of ammo to fire at him when they choose. They will hammer on Kerik keeping it in the news and hint at the Rudy connection until they are ready to use it.
I see more hits on Fred Thompson by the MSM lately. I’d say he is who the Rats really fear IMO.

I agree about Newt and he is not Presidential material. He can be very brilliant, but he says/does really stupid things at times. He sometimes comes on as not very mature. He was good as a street fighter, and thinker, but not a well grounded, good leader. He would make an excellent Cabinet member, not President or VP.

Yes...I believe you are very correct...and he is getting many kudos on the Kos and DUmmieland sites for it.
It just is so funny...because on THIS site, Fox is criticized for being too liberal..
It is kinda like Pres. Bush...damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t.
I kept hearing news reports from BBC radio last night about this HUGH protest in California yesterday by illegal immigrants AGAINST Pres. Bush’s HARSH immigration policies.
EXCUSE ME????
Another case of Pres. Bush taking fire from all sides, IMHO>

Edwards is setting himself up as the “Lawyer of the Left”
He will establish a new Law Firm immediately after the election (I assume he will not win).
The firm will have it’s HQ in D.C. and will act as the lead
trial firm for all global warming related law suits.
He will make hundreds of millions - TRUST ME.
He already has his home in Georgetown and has taken lease position on ‘K’ street office space - due to open in 09’

Arlen just said that Syria wants the Golan back...and HE thinks that Israel may be ready to give it back. Arlen has gone as f****g crazy as Pelosi, then. Does he have any idea of the military significance of the Golan Heights? Or is this just a lot of political pablum on his part?
I love the way these scum are ready to play games with the security of the US, or Israel, just to score political points.

Newt should get back into the Congress and put himself in a policy position and do what he dose best bring great Conservative ideas back into the house Republicans

“IMO, mormons might as well get used to hearing about Mitt’s money coming from them, because it will be true and there are a LOT of mormons with a LOT of money to contribute.”
I agree but my point was Juan mentioned it because he wants everyone to know Mitt is Mormon. Juan is hoping it will be a negative. If Mitt was Baptist and it was Baptist money Juan wouldn’t have mentioned it.

It’s not in their back yard. They don’t have to live with the direct consequences of it. So no sweat off their nose.

Arlen is very aware of all of that...but he is an Assad fan...and he doesn’t hide it.
It is pretty despicable...but there are a LOT of those in Congress these days.

If Mitt was Baptist and it was Baptist money Juan wouldnt have mentioned it. Oh, I don't know....Juan would bring up whatever Baptist boogie man is the dems talking point for the week. He's nothing but a mouthpiece for the DNC.

She is not “womanly” tough, she is “Manly” tough. She is just trying to act like the Poor little Woman who has been wronged by those bad Republicans, the act does not fly. She is no “steel magnolia”, she is a Low rent Thug like Dad. Most of us (women) on this forum I dare say had strong “Moms”, but we are not thugs who think we can get away with sedition by hiding under our skirts. Congressman Billybob can give you more info about her than I can from first hand experience.

I think Olmert needs to make a trip to Washington...and have a meeting with our Congress...and tell them to “butt out”.
To: Txsleuth
Doubt if they’d listen to him....He doesn’t count enough in their grand scale of things.

I think you are right on with this assessment, they will make all those ads with Rudy and Kerik together. We have a lot of time to do something about it, I am totally not sure what that would be, but forewarned is forearmed, or something like that. Time for Coffee.

The ball is in the Republicans court do you agree?
To: greyfoxx39
I know Juan is just a shill for the Rats.
I’ve always said that Juan is the crash test dummy for DNC talking points. They feed him the lines to test and if Brit doesn’t slap him out of his chair then they go national with them.

and now he is against Bushs veto of the Emer. Supplemental Bill!!!I think Arlen would like to do away with the presidency altogether and just have the congress run the country. Nothing less will suit him.
