This is what’s so beautiful. In the nineteenth century, the women’s movement was for a right to vote and a right for women to hold property in their own name, even after marriage. They argued that women were rational and didn’t need any hand holding, just let us vote and let us own property.
Their opponents argued that women were hysterical
How ironic that Nancy Pelosi, self proclaimed “feminist”, epitomizes hysteria and the failure of reason.
It’s important to know what the other side is thinking. We aren’t going to fall into pieces because someone is projecting too much.

I turned on the news for a bit and they were still talking about the primaries and how much money was raised by who and what it all means

The methane expelling democrat is demonstrating the new democrat talking point of saying the VP Chenny is an “extremist”.
When in doubt democrats stand up and scream “nazi!”.
The democrats have no substance but they are given free passes from reporters because if the questions were real no democrat would go on these shows.
If democrats boycotted the press where would they go to spin their lies? they have no where else other than the MSM. Reporters are fools.

That is what we thought we were getting in W. The jon carey alternative was unpalatable, and I, for one, believed W. was God sent. I don't pretend to know WHY he has performed as he has as President, but am feeling let down by some of the inexplicable decisions he has made.
It ia also a matter of getting the vote out for our side. If the primary gets nasty, with candidates trashing each other, they will be cutting their own throats and ours along with them.
The republicans need to get over the "it's HIS turn" thinking that gave us the Dole candidacy...by that logic it will be McCain, and he will lose in a landslide.
I also believe that Mitt will cause a lot of evangelicals to throw their hands up just stay home. The Mitt believers on this forum blithely assume that won't be a factor, and also ignore his flip flopping.
At this point, it looks like Fred Thompson is gaining ground, and it is getting late in the game for anyone else to jump in.

Newt misplaced his talking points sheet and picked up and read Schumer’s.
Schumer made one tiny blurb of note. In talking about the US attorney firings and the AG he mentioned that the AG is failing on the investigation into Bernie Kerik.
This tells me the Rats are going to go into full blown assault mode on Kerik and in turn Rudy. As the primary goes on they will use Kerik/Rudy revelations to shape the news coverage to fit their agenda.
Bill Crystal made a passing comment that on the Republican side its really a 4-5 man race. I take this as Bill acknowledging that Fred Thompson will likely get in and shake things up.
Chris Wallace is a dork and even cut off Brit Hume mid sentence at the end. I don’t think Brit was very happy by the look on his face.
Samantha, it is beginning to look as if you could substitute Cindy Sheehan for Nancy Pelosi and no one could tell the difference.
