I missed what GIngrich had to say about Gonzales, but tuned in just when Wallace said to Schumer something like.....well, no more needs to be said about that then. I’m very disappointed in Gingrich regarding this. I’m not a big fan of Gonzales due to the Sandy Burg(l)er hand slap, and other lax prosecutions. But, the USA issue is NOT one that should cause Gonzales to step down, and Newt shouldn’t be playing into the hands of Chuckie.

Schumer is a low life and he is using/creating issues to get money for his senatorial campaign. Newt should have called him out on this big time.

I don’t appreciate how Chris Wallace tried to change the subject about Pelosi by accusing Newt of doing the same thing. The issue today is Pelosi, not Newt, and shame on Wallace for repeating the dem talking points on this issue.

And, what is up with Brit???? Why does he let Wallace get away with this? FNS is the lowest rated Sunday talk show, and I certainly understand why. I really don’t like Wallace, every week, he shows his democrat colors more and more each time he is on the air.

I have a liberal friend who swears that the MSM is completely unbiased and of course it’s just a conspiratorial fear by us on the right. And yet this same person is constantly complaining to me about how the obvious bias of particular sports journalists. When I ask her how come it’s not possible for news journalists to be just as biased as the ones who cover sports she answers that they’re simply not the same thing. Sigh.

Agreed. In this primary season, let’s all try to remember Reagan’s Eleventh Commandment...one need not carry it to extremes of course, but certainly trashing one or another Republican candidate in harsh words is not helpful to the Republican cause.

80% of the time yo just want to bow down to his brilliance and the other 20% you just want to kick his ass for the stupid things he comes up with.

Post of the day, Rod! I used to be a Newt fan, but he lost me.

I am just waiting for the “Pretty in Pink Press Conference” Part II.

It will not be pink, but it will be maternal, and demure.

Heck she might even whip us a few of her magic chocolate chip cookies.

HAPPY EASTER!!! Had to turn off Fox & Friends this morning because they don’t see a problem with the Democrats “shadow government” going out to the Middle East to talk foreign policy with our enemies. Their uninformed comments about the Muslim Brotherhood almost caused me to hurt my big screen TV. It’s just bubblegum crap on the weekends anyways.

Listening to the FNS panel today, I got the impression that even they were bored with each other. It was useless blather! I think Brit is feeling short-timers syndrome, and is just counting the days until he takes his pension.

My brother was too young to remember the ‘92 campaign. He couldn’t believe it when I told him about the cookie recipe.

Long, long ago; think early 50’s here. It was Easter and it was cold, very cold.
Much like today in North Georgia, yet this was South Georgia in the 50’s. I was 5 or 6 at the time; my brother was 3 or 4.
We were not the same physical size, but my late Mom God rest her soul, had bought us the yearly Easter finery to be worn to church.
My brother and I had yellow short pants and yellow shirts, both very inappropriate for such weather.
This made little difference to my Mom. We went to church in our Easter finery, short pants, short-sleeve shirts, freezing to death.

Thinking back now I realize we must have looked like a couple of those little yellow marshmallow candy Peeps.

Ah, the memories of Easter. The extremely cold temperatures today brought this Easter memory rushing back into my aging mind.

Thanks ALGoracal for global warming.

Meet the Press. No mention at all of the Venona Papers/Project in association with Hiss.
So typical. The MSM figures if they're not mentioned they don't count!
No "fair and balanced" account of things with Timmy.

Tell your friend to walk through the offices of a newspaer or a newsroom.

How many code pink pictures or posters on the desks?
How many impeach bush stickers?

How many other inditia of leftism? They are pleantiful.
(the same in the 1970’s with impeach nixon buttons and stickers everywhere)

Sadly the lack of brain power of your aquantance is standard on the left.

egads: Reliable Sources has a panel on discussing McCain’s comment regarding how things are getting better in Iraq. Clarence Page, Candee Crowley, and Jonah Goldberg, along with Howie Kurtz. Three against one.

Candee stands up for the idiot terrorist loving, terrorist video of snipers killing our troops presented as news instead of propaganda, Michael Ware. No surprises there.

At least Jonah talks about how both ABC and NBC have had positive stories on the progress in Iraq. The others, including Kurtz, ignore those facts completely.

Every time I think I never ever want to even watch Newt again he will come up with something so brilliant it boggles the mind.

His not to well thought out comments on a variety of topics will probably keep him from being potus. In addition, He has gone out of his way to try and get along with the Dems one too many times as well.

WHY DID THEY DUMP THE IMMIGRATION PROPOSAL NEWS ONTO EASTER SUNDAY?

Answer: Because the conservative base is generally doing other things.

FNC is putting the immigration amnesty revamp in its sunday news rotation.

It is as if they are trying to slip it through again. IT is the same as before just now the cost of AMENSTY free pass fine is 30 pieces of silver instead of 3. ($1000 before now $10,000)
