A man was stabbed to death at an Amy Street apartment early Thursday, according to a statement released by the East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office.
Upon arrival at 8338 Amy Street Apartment C, sheriffs deputies discovered an Hispanic male had been stabbed multiple times in his upper torso, the statement said. The East Baton Rouge Parish coroner arrived and pronounced the victim dead.
After a preliminary investigation, deputies determined that two Hispanic men in the apartment had argued over blankets and air conditioning, and the argument became physical. The victim was allegedly stabbed by the accused, Erik Cecilia Rosales Cardoa, 24, who fled the scene, the statement said.
Deputies apprehended Cardoa shortly thereafter.
Sheriffs office investigators continued the investigation and determined that the U.S. Border Patrol would have to assist with translation, according to the statement.
Further investigation revealed that Cardoa was an illegal alien from Mexico who had twice been deported, once on March 26, 2005, and again on Aug. 14, 2005, the statement said.
Cardoa was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on one count of second-degree murder.
The identity of the victim was being withheld until his family can be notified.
Shameful that we have done little to crackdown on this invasion despite the thousands of Americans killed by illegals in our streets and on our highways. Shameful that we have done nothing about the billions we waste having to jail, educate, give public assistance to, and give medical care to people who have no right to be here in the first place.
Aren’t gated communities nice?
Twice deported. He left his family values at the Rio Grande.
I find that guard dogs and loaded weapons in the house are a real comfort too.
