They said that last year. They have as much credibility as Al. They're all nuts.

Actually, the el Nino conditions that developed in the Pacific assisted in shutting down hurricane development in the Atlantic. The presence of strong winds at high altitudes acted to shear cloud tops which detered storm development. It may also have pushed storms away from the US (many died at sea northeast of Bermuda).
