Does Giuliani support federal funding of foreign abortions?
Posted on 04/06/2007 6:56:38 PM PDT by Tailgunner Joe
Ronald Reagan first declared that no USAID money would go to any organization that promoted abortion as a method of family planning. On his second day in office President George W. Bush reinstated the policy of banning foreign aid to organizations which promote abortion, a policy the previous President Clinton had reversed.
We are often told by Rudy supporters that his support for womens choice to have abortions doesn't matter because he cant have much effect on the question of abortion. Someone needs to ask Rudy if he will take Ronald Reagans stand on this issue or Bill Clintons.
Since Rudy supports federal funding for abortions for Americans, does he think it is the responsibility of the American taxpayer to fund abortions around the world also?

Rudy may be propped up by the media almost as much as Hitlary. Several people (Romney, Hunter, Thompson) could come in and smoke him in the primarie. As long as he has McLame to browbeat.
To: Tailgunner Joe
Rudy's stance on abortion is going to get him a position no higher than Executive Assistant Undersecretary to the Deputy Secretary somewhere in the bowels of the federal bureaucracy ~ or maybe he will be put in charge of one of Treasury Departments field finance centers ~ maybe Covington KY where they mail monthly notices to taxpayers who are delinquent in their payments.
It's a darned shame such a slick fellow should be so casual about throwing away his career over a single issue.

To this NRA CONSERVATIVE, it’s a moot point. I wouldn’t vote for Rudy any sooner that I’d vote for Hitlery/Osama.

He condoned such evil in order to rise to the level of power he had. It is only just that his complicity in the murder of millions should keep him from rising any higher.

Forget it. Those who understand what Guiliani means to tne moral fibre of this country already agree with you. Those who think such matters are “private choices”— in other words the type of people who 30 years ago would be in the Democratic Party but now infest and control the GOP— will simply argue with you.

Rudy has already said plenty on the subject of abortion that it may be safely concluded that he believes that abortion is a Constitutional right, that the federal government should not only guarantee that ‘right’, but provide taxpayer funds to provide it to any and all women who want one, but cannot pay for one, and he stated that murdering an unborn child is not as serious as murdering a child that is already alive.
He stands alone as the sole Republican recipient of political donations from the pro-abortion lobby NARAL, he gave them a warm and hearty welcome when they held their Abortaconvention in April 2001, and anyone who truly believes in the sanctity of human life certainly cannot vote for Rudy Giuliani because his views on this subject are immoral.
Hey, it’s Easter Weekend friends, let’s compare quotes:
Jesus said “Let the little children come to Me”.
Rudy says “The little children can be killed if they haven’t quite cleared the birth canal”.

Did he really say "already alive", as if an unborn child is not???

Here is the quote:
See, I dont equate abortion with murdering a child, which I guess puts me in conflict with the teaching of the Catholic church...If you agree with the church, theres no difference between murdering a one-year-old and eliminating a fetus its the same act. There is a moral consequence to the elimination of a fetus, but its not the same thing as murder.

Bill Clinton signed an executive order his first day in office reversing Reagan’s Mexico City Policy, and George Bush signed one HIS first day in office reinstating it.
This is one HUGE way a POTUS can change the abortion situation worldwide with a “stroke of the pen, law of the land.”
There’s no question that hillary would do it on her first day in office. And I’m afraid Rudy probably would too.

Well considering it's Easter Weekend, why don't you spend some time praying about it, ask Jesus Christ to help you understand all of this?
Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me."

Well, there ya go. I guess the courts will sentence them to accepting Christ.
What about the Jews that abort or Hindus?
According to Christianity I know their going to hell anyway, but what do the courts do?

You might consider worrying less about what the courts might do in your hypothetical little question, and actually seek some Divine insight. No harm in that is there?
As for knowing where anyone spends Eternity, that is up to Jesus Christ, for He said "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, No one cometh unto the Father except by Me", what that means is that He is the sole arbiter of what the eternal fate is of each and every soul.
Perhaps that should be your focus.
I'll pray for you. Happy Easter.

Perhaps that should be your focus. There are many religions other than Christianity and other paths to the Way.
Have a Happy Easter in any case.

A mother who wants to kill her own baby is by definition not of sound mind and she should be hospitalized to prevent her from doing harm to herself or her baby. Dr. Mengele-style “doctors” who violate their Hippocratic oaths and murder unborn babies can settle their account before God, and we should speedily send them on their way to do so.
