Sounds like the switcher/amplifier of the cable company, maybe somewhere in your neighborhood got fried and they either replaced it or it, too, reset itself. It could also be that telephone company equipt got fried. You’ll never be able to find out exactly what happened because they are wont to ever admit that something went wrong with their equipt. They never do anything wrong. It is always the fault of the user. Get used to it. :-)

LOL! The first tech I talked to helped me to reset my router too. The second guy said it must be the router that didn’t work, and I would have to call them. (no clue how I was supposed to do that) I am SOOOOO happy to be back online. And as I typed, I realized that blood was dripping on my shirt....a bloody nose in progress. Jeez....gotta go clean that up in a minute...need to post a song first. d:o)
