Reality check for the author-
Conservatives are more generous than liberals
I'm really getting tired of liberals spreading the lie that conservatives don't care for the poor. The conservatives are the ones supporting school choice, intact families and parental responsibility. We're fighting for schools to teach abstinence and trying to get the destructive socialistic/humanistic/homosexual/ agendas out of the classroom. We're the ones fighting the censorship of Christian ideas in our schools and in the public square. Our churches go to prisons and homeless shelters to offer mentoring, hope and life transformations. Our churches also send van loads of construction workers to assist in natural disasters both at home and in foreign countries. We teach the poor to fish. We also personally offer lots of groceries and cash to those in need.
Yet, the lie that liberals are the only ones who care for the poor goes largely unchallenged. We conservatives need to challenge this lie whenever it comes up.
Liberals could care less about the poor.
All liberals care about is themselves.
Liberals LOVE the spot light so when they DO something it is FOR PUBLIC adulation and still - it’s all about THEM. A Christian calls NO attention to themselves when helping the poor - LIBERALS REQUIRE ATTENTION for every little thing they do that could be construed as “helping the poor”.
