Taking flak! Well, at least we know we are over the target. Blogs away!

Pretty soon he’ll be blaming the fundamentalist Christian Right for his problems as well. Just wait, classic liberal scapegoating.

"I think more of this comes from the atmosphere in the blogging atmosphere, in the instant news atmosphere, and the minute analysis atmosphere," he said. I wonder when Rudy's handlers are gonna club him over the head and gag him and tie him up for a week to staunch the political bleeding.
It's your own damn words that are doing you in Rudy. The fact that you are blaming anything but your own fat mouth is YET ANOTHER SIGN that you are not ready for prime time. Real men say "my bad." Jerks blame everyone but themselves.

Yeh - he can’t blame the blogs - they serve and they take away.
This is battle testing - we’re not going back in time.
Best not to make excuses - just state your position and let the people decide.

His primary problems -- the ones that have stuck -- have not come from bloggers scurrilous accusations, they have come from bloggers reporting his own words. Politicians' own words -- their worst enemy.

"I think more of this comes from the atmosphere in the blogging atmosphere, in the instant news atmosphere, and the minute analysis atmosphere," he said. Rudy's recent problems have arisen from interviews he granted or speeches he gave.
The most damning information has come from YouTube videos, which merely give the voters a chance to hear Rudy -- in his own words. His primary problems -- the ones that have stuck -- have not come from bloggers scurrilous accusations -- they have come from bloggers reporting his own words.

Giuliani is not doing himself any favours by reacting this way. His response makes him look weak and petulant.

Is Rudy blaming bloggers for his recent bad publicity?
Bloggers are basically just politically active voters...

Naw... can't be that Rudy is just another RINO trying to pander for votes.
Gotta be us Pajamaheeden out here in fly-over country being mean to him. LOL...
The Internet crowd has a LONG memory with instant recall. Candidates can no longer expect to dupe the People by flip-flopping on the issues.
This makes Rudy sad. As well it should...

Rudy supports McCain-Feingold, btw. He’s on record as saying its good, but has loopholes that need to be plugged.

I suspect that there has been some blood drawn by the bloggers. In fact, his campaign is bleeding profusely at this point. These people fail to realize that every time they speak, someone will post it and check the past, instantly.

Before bloggers, the voting public had to blindly depend on the MSM to represent candidates and their views. Journalists were (and still are) accountable to no one so they take excessive advantage of their position.
Now, bloggers are in a position to keep not only the MSM but the candidates themselves honest. Maybe now candidates will learn to speak properly and to be responsible for what comes out of their mouths. We can only hope.
