BRUSSELS, Belgium - An international global warming conference approved a report Friday warning of dire threats to the Earth and to mankind — from increased hunger to the extinction of species — unless the world adapts to climate change and halts its progress.
Agreement came after an all-night session during which key sections were deleted from the draft and scientists angrily confronted government negotiators who they feared were watering down their findings.
"It has been a complex exercise," said Rajendra Pachauri, chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
Several scientists objected to the editing of the final draft by government negotiators but in the end agreed to compromises. However, some scientists vowed never to take part in the process again.
They should release their reports in mid-summer. It is hard to care about global warming when facing record cold weather.

Actually they are being smarter than that. They are releasing their reports in pieces, so that it stays in the news cycle throughout the year. They are really very clever at manipulating the all too willing media.

I agree, socialist agendas are always a threat to Earth.
That is, it FOLLOWS warming temperatures by about 800 years. So atmospheric CO2 rises with global temperature and is rather caused by it than a cause of it.

I’m dying for one of these ‘genius’ 2500 at the IPCC to explain to the rest of us why before there was a United States, China, Saudi Arabia, industrial revolution, H2’s and hot air from Al Gore, why there was around 320 ppmv’s in the atmosphere.
This not to mention how they can prove that this increase in global temperature is actually ‘scientific’ as if you look at the list of the 2500 ‘scientists’ on the panel of the IPCC you will find delegates and NOT scientists for the most part. You find people still on their list who left the panel years ago because they disagreed with it.
But I guess I shouldn’t confuse this very well thought out ‘investigation’ with those silly things called FACTS.

A person’s historical perspective begins when they were born and become old enough to recognize themselves in the mirror. Some. like the Goracle. never seem to have achieved that level of intellect.
When you consider the total time the Earth spends as a snowball vs the time it spends warm like today, might want to enjoy while you can.
