I don't remember them offering the same silly criticism of the U.S. and its military personnel back in 2001 when those E-3 crew members were "captured" by the Chinese in the Hainan Island incident and held for 10 days.

I am aggravated by arm-chair warriors as well. However, the crew of the E-3 did not defame the US government on TV with smiles on their faces.

I can't imagine that the commander of my company would behave the way that this British captain did.
