He clearly did hunt, enjoyed it, doesn't oppose it, considers himself a hunter, but it is not his #1 past-time. Who cares....

I tend to agree. I've never been hunting in my life, but I'm a strong Second Amendment supporter both on sporting grounds and on social grounds. Of course, I've never signed an "assault weapons" ban either, so I don't have that mistake to live down. In either case, I'll be glad to see this nonsense go away. I don't think that Mr. Romney can really help himself with these kinds of discussions.

I go deer and elk hunting every year, duck and goose hunting as well, own 5 guns, but see no place for massive assault weapons in the hands of ordinary, untrained citizens, including myself.

I must admit I own an SKS Russian semi automatic, it’s fun to shoot, but I’m pretty sure it’s not on any banned list.
