This is awful. I’m worried about feline canned Science Diet w/d since it has gluten meal in it.
Eight in One Inc., a division of United Pet Group Inc., is recalling all packages of Dingo ChickN Jerky, Dingo Kitty Chicken Jerky and Dingo Ferret Chicken Jerky.
They say it is unrelated to the other recall...hmmmmm.
If it has wheat gluten on the label, lose it!

DelMonte was a voluntaey recall of certain lot codes.
They have not had any pet incidents tied to their products.
We give our dog Meaty Bones once a day and my wife freaked out when she found out they were a DelMonte product, fortunately Meaty Bones are not affected by the recall.

All the recalls for Men Foods have been the wet foods, right? Have there been an recalls on thier dry food products? (Specifically Nutro Max)

A reader reports that CNN just announced that FDA has identified another company that also received the tainted wheat gluten. FDA refused (once again) to identify the company, but CNN said that their products are made by Sunshine Mills.
They also sell dog treats under Wal-Marts OlRoy brand.
They own brands such as: Sunshine Pet Treats, Sportsmans Pride, and World Pet Foods. They sell throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico, plus over thirty other countries worldwide.
...the question is, when does this expand to include human food? You know that the focus on the bottom line is likely to have led to the use of this imported Chinese crap in prepackaged human foods.
How long before human food is contaminated overseas?
I started giving my kitties tuna and egg. Was also worrying about the mercury thing. Guess it will take time to build in in their systems. Hopefully, before too long, I can find the right foods for them.
