Not voting in the Republican general election is giving Hillary the Marxist 1/2 vote. Isn’t that how elections work?

Did you just call Franklin Delano Roosevelt a conservative? Well, if I did, I'll have to rinse out my mouth with carbolic acid.
I think I said that Bush was the second most conservative president since FDR ... meaning (1) Reagan, (2) Bush.
I just used FDR as a convenient time marker. :-)

Haven’t you heard, they’re not good conseravtives........LOL.

“..determined to keep any and all from handing over the White House to liberals.”
Exactly. Rudy is a liberal. We should see to it that he doesn’t win.

So why would you take that chance by supporting Rudy for the nomination?
To: Luke21
I think you know what I meant.

Rudy is tearing this board apart, moreso than the immigration debate. The man cannot unite the GOP and lead us to victory in 08.
To: Howlin
As pointed out by Jim, supporting Rudy the RINO is NOT a "conservative" thing to do.
It isn't bashing other posters so much as it is bashing their horrific choice of a liberal New Yorker for their First Choice candidate.

Well, from the way you worded it, you were saying that Bush - who is lower than Reagan on the Conservo-scale - is less conservative than FDR.
:O
The government got you, didn’t they?!

I'm very delighted that he's a stand up liberal, flips conservative pro-lifer's off (and in so doing, states that he will use his power as President to make sure we pay for each and ever baby aborted!)
Great news, now I no longer even have to consider him a "viable" adult Republican candidate (as though I had before this.)

You did wake up in the White House??

And you are right but I don’t understand why this seems to fall on deaf ears.

Right. Even Ted Olson. Whose wife was murdered on 9-11, and who won Bush the Presidency in the Supreme Court.
To: Dead Corpse
Nobody said it was a good choice; I’m just saying that I’m pulling the R lever regardless of who it is.

May I?
not me, either... I'll vote for the Hildabeast..{snip}.. got a Republican legislature, gave the conservatives most of the state houses and governorships....ended welfare.... I like my enemy to be in front of me....not stabbing me in the back like a RINO would....
Nor would I want the world to think that HE represents US!

Bush won the presidency on election night.
To: Howlin
I have often disagreed with you and am pleased to be on the same side for once, but these Rudy people are going to destroy the GOP a lot faster than conservatives and Christians will.
The base of this party comes from many groups. But Giuliani is not only an immoral rat, he is an eighty percent liberal. How can you blame people for opposing that? There are Democrats that are more conservative than Rudy now. We cannot nominate him or we will have one active party in this country, and not a dime’s bit of difference between them. We need a choice. Rudy will not give us that.
