I admit that I, as an American, deserve the government that the American people want. And if the American people want an unrepentant abortion proponent to lead this nation, then they are free to do it and suffer the consequences. I am prepared to suffer the consequences. My conscience is clear. If America wants Hillary or O'Bama then I'm willing to let God extend either his mercy or his judgment. I do fear that if the Choice is between Rudy (an unapologetic abortion proponent) and Hillary or Obama (unapologetic abortion proponents) then God has chosen for this nation judgment and not mercy.

Since Fred has been playing the coy maiden over that period one should expect some comments about him not all positive. I like him but his campaign should it happen does not concern me wrt its impact on Rudy’s.
Didn't I read something over the weekend where Fred said he would not run "for personal reasons" and that-is-that...case closed?

Well, I don't know about "easy" ... as a pro-lifer I would struggle to pull the lever for Rudy.
But in addition to the WOT, there is the little matter of the federal judiciary. It is at least conceivable that Rudy will appoint a few constructionists, or at least split his appointments between moderates and conservatives.
Whereas, if Hillary gets three Supreme Court nominations, we'll get the president, vice-president, and treasurer of the ACLU.
So even though Rudy opposes my convictions, voting for Rudy (not in the primaries, but in the general) might be the option that best furthers my convictions ... or at least does the least damage to them.
Hope it doesn't come to that.

Sean Hannity is a whiny little sycophant with the reasoning skills of an 11-year-old.
That's one of the big reasons that so many Republicans are opposing him. Same goes with the pro-2nd Amendment platform of the GOP. It would be tragic to see a Giuliani candidacy cause the end of that.
