This is a new way to generate hydrogen.

The US Guv is working on a vehicle prototype now.

Where have you been? This non-story has been around for a year, maybe more. It’s not going anywhere...

Is this Brown’s gas?
It seems to come up every couple a months.

Actually.....

if I recall my chemistry... electrolysis gives you H2 and O2, not HHO. Also, you get twice as much of the hydrogen as you do oxygen. But, anyway, whatever method he is using is not technically ONLY electrolysis.

I think it is actually a plasma cutter using alcohol as the H source and the water acts as the carrier shielding gas. Pretty cool plasma cutters, I really want one, but they are above $1000.

And no, you can’t run a car efficiently and get more energy out than you put in.

Yep, this has been around for awhile, and has been used by hucksters to separate grandmothers from their cash.

Likewise, a little Googling shows that it is useless for motive power. In the video you see the gas coming from a generator. Having any significant supply of it in a tank is, as one scientist put it, "criminally stupid".

What?

Yes, the gas likes to float around in pairs. H2 and O2, but what do you think happens when you burn said H2??

You get H2O.

The laws of conservation can not be violated.

Anyway, this hydrogen car thing is a scam. You would be better off just using the electricity to drive an engine than separating water into gas to burn in a combustion engine.

blahhhh

Rick...I think this is how it works.

Regular electrolysis uses a steady current and the water gets
hot quickly....it uses a lot of electricity.

The method that is used in this type system uses a principal
that Tesla employed for DC current. To move electricty long
distances the secret was frequency modulation.

This system uses small amounts of electricty....
the water stays cool.

The electricity is high voltage low amps. It is modulated at a
certain (patented) frequency....the water releases gas.

The Tesla coil has a lot of unexplored effects on the structure of matter.

Its all about frequency modulation.
