What would it take to make the free world rise up against islamo-fascist terrorism?

Thought Experiment: What would it take to make the free world rise up against islamo-fascist terrorism?

Apparently kidnapping and taking hostage British soldiers isn't going to motivate the free world to rise up against islamo-fascist terrorism.

Iranian terrorists crossing into Iraq and blowing up innocents isn't going to motivate the free world to rise up against islamo-fascist terrorism.

Lebanese terror groups hurling rockets into Israel isn't going to motivate the free world to rise up against islamo-fascist terrorism.

And lets face it, if Gore, or Kerry after him, had won the presidential election (both close elections), even now the US would not be confronting islamo-fascist terrorism in the Middle East.

Is there anything that may motivate the free world to rise up against islamo-fascist terrorism?

The short answer is: No.

The long answer is: The old philosophy ‘better red than dead’ applies, and isn’t going to go away any time soon, if ever.

Nothing. The damage is too severe. The Empire is too dissapated and fragmented to defeat the barbarians now; it will take a Charlemagne to do that. God will send us a Charlemagne. Until then we must play the part of the monks, establishing ourselves in out-of-the-way places, praying to God, and preserving our faith and culture until the Empire is reborn.

That very painful, nearly unspeakable thought has crossed my mind more than once. For example, a nation that will send mothers of young children into ground infantry combat operations, when the survival of the nation is not under such dire threat as to objectively require such sacrifices, DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE DEFENDED.
As a former naval person, the very thought of both young women and men being posted to duty billets aboard a warship, where on extended tours of sea duty a significant number of said women will become pregnant and necessitate costly transfer ashore and replacement by airlift, with the U. S. government thereby assuming responsibility for the support of their “fatherless” children, is for me troubling beyond my ability to describe. I have lived in the close quarters of a navy ship, at a time when sexual relations among crew members was absolutely forbidden and resulted in separation from the service, although I never heard of such an incident occurring anyplace I served. Today heterosexual intercourse is expected and tolerated, condoms supplied freely. This situation makes nonsensical the claim that the Dept. of Defense is “family friendly.”

I also believe that this number is more than the lives lost at Pearl Harbor.

What a difference 40 years can make in the spine of America....

My dad, Normandy vet, often brings up this point.

We need to link them to global warming and somehow get PETA involved.

No. The west is too soft, weak, leftist, feminized, hooked on oil, stupid, etc. Again, No.

What would it take?:
1) Rejection of the so called “Enlightenment.”
2) The end of de facto mob rule in Western so called “democracies.”
3) Real leaders, of the Charlemagne type.

Well, deporting all muslims from all western nations, for a start.

Clarification:

“What would it take to make the free world rise up against islamo-fascist terrorism?”

A Muslim American POTUS

Because so much of the free world hates America now, if a Muslim American became president, they could finally “rise up” against both without getting out of their recliners.

Yup.

People don't like to admit it, but I don't think this country has truly been America since the 60's.

Even during President Reagan's term he met massive opposition from the left on such a simple and obvious thing as standing up against communism.

I hate to say it and especially here but I frequently think the left has won. Just look at the shape of our kids and our country.

I think you are dead on with this assumption.

Is this a vanity? Seems the world is already risen and at war with global terrorism to the tune of 1/2 trillion dollars a year in direct military expenditures and who knows how much in public security expenditures.

Sadly very true.

i find it hard to get excited anymore (I am a Republican too) since Bush and his wealthy cronies are now pulling the rug right out from under our sovereignty -— in many ways.

we are seeing the SSA and IRS both using citizen’s ssn numbers (illegally and on the sly) to collect taxes and accrue ssn benefits for illegals, plans for amnesty for millions of illegals, prosecution of our border agents, building foreign ports on US soil, NAFTA, CAFTA, and various other harmonization and business initiatives that will take away our rights as a nation and send our jobs and income elsewhere.

maybe someone can explain to me why we should continue to fight a war on terror when our leaders are giving everything away....in the long term we will simply be protecting some billionaire’s assets when we have nothing left? i do believe in what we did in Iraq but I would strongly question future wars under a president that is gutting our future potential.

When they use the next nuclear weapons dropped in anger.

Well, more like driven up in a truck. They don't have a delivery system.
