The combined strong conservative vote is about 13%. The undecided is 17%.

13% of the conservative base not interested in the 3 front runners is the end of the election.

17% undecided is a bit indecipherable. Are these ID’d Republican voters?

Zogby: Romney Rockets! (NH poll shows Romney tied with McCain at 25%; Giuliani trails at 19%)

Yes, but how are the Republican candidates doing?

If the primary does come down to McCain, Rudy, or Romney, Romney has my vote.
I'd like to see a real conservative running though. Two of them are east coast liberals, and McCain will cave to anyone who puts a camera in his face. We don't have any good candidates to vote for this time. This is a pretty sad bunch.

Can’t we find someone who isn’t a limp-wristed RINO or a total nutjob?

There’s at least 60 million of us who bothered to vote in 2004, it can’t be that difficult.

A combined 69% support Rudy McRomney is more evidence that the ‘base’ isn’t nearly as alienated by these three as many on FR are.

This poll conducted Apr 2-3 reflects favorable Romney publicity in all media after 1Q fundraising results were released on Monday. Just goes to show what a little favorable publicity will do.

Romney gave an excellent televised interview with Sean Hannity yesterday in which he ripped into Pelosi. I see Newsmax jumped on that statement and made it a story today.

Romney also made an appearance on the Today show earlier in the week. So far he hasn’t been asked to speak on “The View” with Ms Rosie O”donnell so far as I know. /sarc ;)

BTW, you need to get cable TV or satellite to keep us in the know.

Romney Week in Review
April 5, 2007

This week, Governor Mitt Romney announced that his campaign raised an astounding $23 million from the first quarter of 2007, more than any of his opponents in the Republican primary . With contributions from all 50 states and Washington, D.C., the strength of Governor Romney’s early fundraising effort demonstrates that his message of change in Washington through innovation and transformation is resonating with people across this country.

His strong showing in today’s Zogby poll in New Hampshire that places Governor Romney at 25% and tied for first in the field is one more indicator of Mitt’s surging momentum.

Unwilling to rest on his laurels, Governor Romney had an aggressive schedule of television apperances this week, including CBS’ Early Show, NBC’s Today Show, and ABC’s Good Morning America on Tuesday morning, Fox News’ Big Story with John Gibson on Tuesday evening, and an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Wednesday night. Watch all the highlights and don’t miss Mitt’s 2008 candidate word association game!

Governor Romney also held his first “Ask Mitt Anything” public forums in Derry, New Hampshire and Urbandale, Iowa. “Ask Mitt Anything” events are an opportunity for local residents to ask the Governor questions in a town hall or tele-town hall about his policies, ideas and vision for meeting a new generation of challenges.

But because most Americans can’t make it to Derry or Urbandale, we’ve launched a new “Ask Mitt Anything” channel on Mitt TV where you can watch Mitt answer unscripted, unfiltered questions from these events. We’ve already released videos on the national debt, immigration, energy policy, foreign relations, and the right to life.

Finally, the campaign launched it’s newest television ad, “;I Like Vetoes,” which highlights Governor Romney’s pledge to bring fiscal discipline back to Washington.

Governor Romney has proposed capping non-defense discretionary spending at inflation minus one percent and will veto any budget that exceeds that amount. Make sure to watch it on Mitt TV now ... early primary voters will be soon!

Ignore all polls. If we followed all the polls, we’d piss away the Constitution by now.

“More than half of respondents (54%) said they were more likely to vote for a candidate who is generally more conservative, while 37% said they would favor a more moderate candidate.”

I think New Hampshire is being colonized by New York City refugees, as has been Vermont, eastern PA and parts of Florida.

A wall should be put up around New York City and only certifiable patriotic Americans allowed out.

How do you become a "former war hero?" I did not realize there is an expiration date on such things.
