I can’t find Fred Thompson’s. I THINK it is 0% though.

I did find Harry Reid’s, his NARAL rating is 20%, that should give the Rudyites something to ponder.

Pushing a liberal for a republican slot is idiotic.

Every four years we have fools who maintain that having a hard left Dem in the White House (or the congress) would be better than the impure Republican. They’ve been wrong every year I’ve been voting... and I’m not a young man. “Teaching them a lesson” doesn’t work - it simply harms the country for those years, emboldens the enemy, weakens the conservative movement, and drives the Republican party further to the center.

I’m not pushing Rudy. Nor am I pushing McCain. I will choose the candidate I back for nomination among others who are more conservative in ALL the areas I care about.

Nevertheless, if he is nominated, I will support him in the general election since he has at least some things “right” as far as I’m concerned. The alternative will be, in effect, supporting someone like Hitlery who clearly is “wrong” in EVERY area as far as I’m concerned. There are a few Dems I could support instead, but the chances of any of them ever being nominated are vanishingly small.

Hey dirtboy!

Good old Rep. Henry Hyde, true statesman retired. I’ve admired his work for years. Lest we forget, he endorses Duncan Hunter for the presidency. A brilliant mind we need to hear more from these days.

Duncan Hunter needs the allegiance of every country loving voter, and he needs it NOW. Log onto Go Duncan Hunter ‘08, and let’s put our money where our mouths are - TODAY.

Did I say he was always supportive of the Hyde Amendment?

I was initially pinging just Victoria Delsoul (who said that), then I recalled a few others who were partaking in yesterday’s abortion debate for Rudy about his alleged support for the Hyde Amendment (FO, KATIE-O, Hitman, and you) and I just decided to ping all of you in one go.

I’m very unhappy about Rudy’s comments on abortion funding.
He doesn’t seem to understand the Constitution.

Poor Sean Hannity just told Mark Levin that other than PBA, Guiliani has remained consistent not changing his position on abortion. Sean is such a gentleman that men like Rudy can feed him things they know will be gullibly swallowed because Sean wants it to be true regardless of whether it is or not. I suppose that’s the definition of politician liberals like most.

Rudy wasn’t always supportive of the Hyde Amendment, despite your claims to the contrary.

I never said that Rudy was always supportive of the Hyde Amendment, and since you are so found of cutting and pasting, please cut and paste where I said so.

And for your information, some abortions have been federally funded for the last 30 years. I repeat, 30 years - and no president including Reagan got rid of them, even though Reagan, Bush Sr. and GW didn't expand federal funds for abortions in cases of rape, incest, and the health of the mother beyond the limitations of the existing law, unlike Bill Clinton.

The clarification made by his campaign means that he doesn't want to alter the standards set in the Hyde amendment.

Link.

If I misread you, then I apologize.

That may be, but I wouldn't trust Giuliani to keep the status quo. Not with his record.

I posted the clarification issued by his campaign as the proof that he supports (as in now) the principles of the Hyde Amendment as it currently stands.

Come on ! Giuliani clearly said that he not only personally believes there a constitutional right to an abortion, he also believes women who wish to slaughter their unborn children but can't come up with money, have a constitutional right to take it from the public treasury.

Any reasonably intelligent person knows this is where Rudy's black heat is on the matter. But then, few if any Giuliani groupies are known for being very bright.

So what compels you to post to me? Obviously, you aren't half as bright as you pretend to be, ROFLOL!
