America Plans to Attack Iran by End of April, Says Report(Arab Times)
Hindustan Times ^ | April 05, 2007 | staff

The United States is planning to attack Iran's nuclear reactors and other nuclear facilities by the end of this month, the Kuwait-based Arab Times newspaper reported on Wednesday.

Citing anonymous sources in Washington, it said that various White House departments had started preparing the political speech to be delivered by the US president later this month, announcing the military attack on Iran.

The speech will provide the "evidence" and the "justification" for the US to resort to the military option after failing to persuade Tehran to give up its nuclear ambitions, said the report.

According to the Times, one of the justifications expected in the speech is Iran's alleged role in the killing of American soldiers in Iraq by supporting various militias with money and arms.

The US president's speech will also point to Iran's political interference in Iraq, obviously in cooperation with Syria.

The sources were quoted as saying that US will not resort to a ground attack in order to avoid human losses.

Sooner or later we are going to have to give the Muslims the jihad they so desperately want. And this time we will finish the job.

I thought D-Day was going to be April 6...maybe Pelosi bought her new friends a couple weeks to dig in deeper.

Originally, it was the 4th or 6th of April. They keep pushing the date forward when nothing actually happens.

There are too many magic eight balls out there that are being used to predict dates. The element of suprise is the key factor. If these dates are being officially released its to get the Mullahs to run around like chickens without heads. We can’t just drop bombs and end it there. Once that is done they will do their bet to retaliate with whatever means they have at hand. Sure they may try to enter Iraq but their tactics are from a one page field manual that says frontal assault. Too many senarios here. We must concentrate on building an Iranian Gov’t in exile that will be anti Mullah and free the Iranians from the Mullah’s control.

But Russia hinted that the U.S. will be delivering Easter Eggs on Iran on Good Friday. I wish someone would get these rumors down to just one rumor so I can plan my day off to correlate with the Fox News live coverage of the bombing.

Why bother? Just slate-wipe their senior party leadership, catch 'em at a mass rally perhaps with the help of MOAB, kill their security control nodes and their Quds and Revolutionary Guards Dobermans, and sit back and wait for the Iranians to rebuild their own government on the ruins of the revolution.

Bush is going to have to decide whether America and the rest of the world is prepared to pay $100 a barrel for oil. Because to take out the Iran gasoline refinery, nuclear sites and blockade the Persian Gulf will give us over five dollar a gallon gasoline.

April 6, the claimed day for attack. I hope to see the bombs dropped and Mullahs’ dead corpse down the streets with Iranian people uprising taking power. We have no reason to wait. Good Night.

This story has about reached the bottom of the journalistic food chain, and it has been posted in some form or another at every stage along the way. It takes about a month. The Monitor would be the absolute last stage.
