HANNITY: Just a short while ago, I had an exclusive sit-down interview with the former New York City mayor and presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani. From his wife Judy to the state of America today, we covered some pretty serious issues, and here's what he had to say.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
HANNITY: Mr. Mayor, good to see you again.
RUDY GIULIANI, FORMER MAYOR OF NEW YORK CITY: Hi, Sean.
HANNITY: First trip to Iowa?
GIULIANI: Yes.
HANNITY: Why did you wait so long?
GIULIANI: We got started a little late. I mean, we're probably -- we're ahead of the old cycles. We're kind of a couple months ahead, but we're probably two or three months behind the present one. I think we've caught up now.
I think we've caught up in fundraising. We had a really great March. We raised over $10 million, got $11 million in the bank. And we've now got ourselves organized here in Iowa. We've got Jim Nussle running our campaign, getting a lot of people. So I think we'll do well in Iowa. And all the polls say we're competitive in Iowa, so we might as well go for it here.
HANNITY: What do you make of the fundraising? I mean, look at the money that Hillary raised. Look at the money Barack Obama raised. Mitt Romney raised a lot. You raised a lot. Is it too much?
GIULIANI: Probably not with all these primaries. I mean, sure, is it too much in the big scheme of things? Sure. But is it necessary when you've got not just Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina, but Florida, and California, and New York, and Illinois? These are big states.

So In otherwords if Sean Hannity preferred your candidate he would be great and you would be jumping up and down and saying GO SEAN GO???
Sean Hannity, Thursday, June 29, 2000.
I mean, it's like, you know, Xeroxing and handing it out to them. We're going to retreat from the field in the following order and in the following way.
I don't think I've ever heard of this before in the history of war. I think it is inherently irresponsible. And it puts the remaining troops who are left behind as you do this kind of sequenced retreat, it puts them in graver jeopardy.
His whole answer to Sean's question about what the Democrats are doing was excellent, but this really jumped out at me.
He has MAJOR judgmental problems...
Do WHAT, Rudy?
So what is that supposed to do? You judge people on Abortion only? No wonder social issues never win in elections! You totally destroy a person on a single issue. Now that is a Shame!
(((PING)))
And your evidence for this is...?
A single issue? The slaughter of thousands of innocent human babies every day is just a "single issue"?
And you evidence for social issues winning presidential elections are??? The WOT is the #1 issue. Now that there were hostages (even though they are being released) don’t think that terror doesn’t resonate on the American people’s minds right now as the single most important issue.
For most people in the U.S. it is a Single issue. So is Guns, Gays etc. All single issues. You can lump how many babies you want into it to make it seem like a million issues but it is 1 Issue.
That’s a lot of “single issues” there.
Since I never mentioned or suggested such a thing, you must be doing a bang-up job of reading people's minds today.
Methinks Sean has foremost a bias for ratings. It's going to be a long darn campaign, and I daresay we can count on Mr. Hannity to squeeze a succession of candidates and scandals like orange rinds between now and November 2008. It's his job. To be sure, he does seem to treat each issue of the day as if it were the only one in the world.
Sursum corda. I don't care for Rudy as a Presidential candidate (although he was a great mayor), but I think the night is young.
