What happened to the guns that were confiscated after Katrina?
The NRA backed a group that sued to have the guns confiscated returned. Evan after a court order to return the stolen guns they haven’t been returned.
The City of New Orleans is in contempt of a couple of court orders to return them & the mayor & chief of police are thumbing their noses at the Federal Judge & the federal judge hasn’t issued a bench warrant for their arrest yet.
They were handed over/confiscated by the BATFE for holding/destruction.
