I think it’s adorable. And it’s nice they aren’t embarrassed. Most men would be.

Another post pulled. LOL.

They just can't stay on topic, can they?
But when you're pushing a liberal on a conservative website, I guess you have to resort to pure nonsense, misprepresentations, violations of forum etiquitte and personal attacks like we've seen here.

Yup! But I learned my lesson in a way. I’m pretty careful now. At least I try to be.

Astute point. George W. Bush has that same “comfortable in his own skin” personal self-confidence; his father did not.

"Political observers have long predicted that Giuliani's early strong support in the 2008 Republican presidential primary would dissipate as conservative voters learned about his past support for gun control, gay rights, and abortion rights. In addition, the thinking went, some conservatives would be repelled to learn of his sometimes chaotic personal life and the tarnished records of some of his business associates. Yet as details about Giuliani's life and record have emerged in politically astute New Hampshire, many voters say their support remains firm. They maintain that his success in New York City and his views on taxes and fighting terrorism -- shaped by the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 -- outweigh any personal foibles and positions on social issues that stray from the GOP party line."

The old rules no longer apply. Rudy connects with those who get it. You mean principle no longer applies, only star power and the quest for power does.
Those "getting it" are the Kool-Aid drinkers willing to abandon conservatism just to get a Republican in the White House or defeat Hillary Clinton.
More and more there is no difference between many Republicans and "conservatives" and Democrats and liberals.

Let’s not forget how he criticized policies to bring down illegal immigration...or how he avidly supports gun control...doesn’t sound much like “national security” to me.

God help our country if the white flag dims get total control over the country. God help our country if a liberal of either party gets in the White House.
It's little amusing mentioning God and beleiving He would support the candidacy of a thrice-married adulterer that has supported publicly financiing the slaughter of unborn children, doesn't have the moral clarity to figure out partial-birth infanticide should be illegal, has received money from pro-abortion organizations, marched in every gay parade pride as mayor of New York and believes homosexuality is good and normal.
At least have the courtesy of leaving God out of it if you're going to support someone so morally depraved.

He was good last night, and that dazzling smile at the end is a knockout punch. That excuses his record?

Rudy's popularity is simple: He is viewed as a leader. Hitler, Stalin, FDR, Mao and Saddam have all been viewed as great leaders. Being a leader, in and of itself, isn't necessarily a good thing.
Liberalism keeps winning because too many "conservatives" are too stupid to look beyond personal attributes or so desperate to beat Democrats, they elect liberals and unprincipled RINOs to office.
One has to wonder if there is really any reason to even care who wins elections anymore when there is so little difference between the candidates and parties.

Your tag line is pretty absurd. Yes but it's pretty accurate. On social issues, they agree on several items. That's absurd!

Hitler, Stalin, FDR, Mao and Saddam have all been viewed as great leaders. All I'm saying is Guiliano is popular because he is viewed as a leader. Until such time that a conservative arives on the scene who exhibits the ability to lead and has name recognition beyond his home state, Guiliano will be the guy.
