I actually read the NYTimes article and here’s the bottom line:

Dowd was, is and always will be a Democrat — he supported President Bush because he LIKED THE MAN not because he liked the man’s politics.

It becomes very clear when you actually read the article that Dowd picked this time to ‘air’ his grievances because he blames the President both for his son’s decision to join the military and for his son’s impending deployment to Iraq . . . Dowd really comes across as a very troubled and WEAK man!

What a difference between his weak spirit and that attitude of a patriot who is PROUD to have a son serving selflessly for our freedom.

Makes you almost feel sorry for him.............almost.
