A team of homosexual activists whose goal is to "dialogue" with Christian colleges about changing their beliefs regarding the "gay" lifestyle is coming to Bob Jones University, but campus officials already have made plans to, very politely, disinvite them from campus.
The "Soulforce Equality Riders" several weeks ago launched teams in two buses with directions to head to several dozen Christian colleges and "address discriminatory" policies on those campuses.
However, officials at Bob Jones University, a leader in Christian education as well as publishing and ministry, say there's no point in meeting with the group, scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

"Soulforce was founded in 1998 by Mel White and has targeted religious groups holding biblical policies on the issue of homosexuality with its protests over the years."
Mel White? That name rings a bell. Wasn't he some type of clergyman who went native while dining with the sinners and publican? Now I'm thinking he's preaching that Homosexuality is OK with Jesus.

Good for Bob. I wish more Christians would take this approach.

Mel White was an evengelical preacher who ghostwrote books for and was friends with folks like Falwell, Robertson and Billy Graham.

STDs in general are consequences for bad choices regarding sexual behavior - “liberals” want to eliminate all consequences for bad choices, because they want there to be no “discrimination” between good choices and bad choices.

hear, hear, BJU (snicker) isnt exactly pro-catholic in its stance on theology, well... it's not like the Catholic church is pro-protestant in its stance on theology...

Be wary of anyone who uses “dialog” as a verb.
To: rrc
ME: right, it isnt supposed to be, but there isnt an inhernet anti-protestant make up as part of the teaching at places like notre dame, etc.
Maybe not but, I’ve been to a catechism class that berated Lutherans....
